Description

The Green Man: A Celtic God

This is a depiction of the Celtic god “the Green Man”. I gave him a reddish-brown background and I painted him on traditional stretched canvas. This piece has a glow about the exterior of his head. Acorns are hidden in his beard and he smiles as he gazes into your eyes. All colors of the painting are collected in his eyes. This was an attempt to find a personal signature in my paintings and something I am still attempting to this day. He has been painted in the fantasy art style and the painterly style.
