The hills are Illuminated by Illuma Hills

I was inspired by a view, that I saw while driving home one night. I had noticed the illumination from the city behind the hills and I noted the dotting of house lights on the hill sides. I decided to challenge myself to see if the images I saw could be transformed into a painting. I wanted to show a piece that could capture light with acrylic paint. I wanted to make sure the light it was catching could be matched to a photo. I like the glow of the piece. All the little dots of light, or how it played on the sky. Either way, I wanted this piece to lose itself in the light. I wanted this piece to be my communication to the world through light.
